Grants and Loans for Resource Efficiency
The two big drivers of environmental change in the UK are energy efficiency and waste management. The objectives are to reduce the UK’s greenhouse gas emissions (principally carbon) and divert waste away from being dumped in landfill sites. See links to these external sites:

The UK government is funding these objectives through grants and loans for householders, commercial businesses and the not-for-profit sector.
Spring Environmental Consultants recently hosted a seminar on this topic. Delegates went away armed with information on the key funding sources and some examples of current grant and loan schemes.
